The techniques of bambooworks include "Amimono (plaited bamboo)", which is the weaving of bamboo strips, and "Kumimono (paralell construction)", which is the assembling of bamboo strips by utilizing the lines of the strips. There are bamboo techniques I learned from my master, Shokansai Iizuka (a living national treasure).

My specialty is the technique of bundle weaving and openwork weaving. The theme of my artwork is a scene of nature.

Received the Japan Kōgeikai Members’ Award – Asuka Cruise Prize (2024)
