42nd Japan Traditional Urushi Art Exhibition: MOA Museum of Art Award

This time, I am exhibiting tsuishitsu (urushi carving) jewelry, but I am also making kinma as my artworks. I would like to focus on traditional kōgei and also create small pieces that are easy to use. The kōgei, urushi work in particular has an image of being difficult to be used, and I would like to change that. The artist puts the heart and soul into the creation of even the smallest piece. We hope that visitors will feel the charm of Japanese kōgei.
