Message from Tetsu Suzuki sensei
I use a potter's wheel to shape, and while it's still soft, I paint the surface with mud to create the scenery on my work. And then, I finish the surface with a trowel. I hope that you could sense your own emotional landscape from the flowing glaze.

The glaze with which my artworks are covered is oribe glaze. Although I would originally call it Oribe Flower Vase, I have named it Flower Vessel with Three Color Glaze Decoration. This is because I wanted to create a new green artwork that cannot be described in the category of oribe and that transcends the region called Mino.
