I have built a kiln in Shiga, and my artworks are shaped in my sensitivity cultivated by the nature of the Hira mountains and Lake Biwa, which are close to my home. I want to capture and express the deep blue hues of the ever-changing Lake Biwa in my artworks, reflecting the blue of the sky and the fullness of the water.
